HUMAN Network for Health and Humanitarian Affairs Organizes Training on Emergency Health Management and Communication in Kifri
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of healthcare professionals and enhance preparedness for emergency situations, the Human Network for Health and Humanitarian Affairs (HUMAN), in cooperation with Kifri Teaching Hospital, organized a specialized training course entitled "Emergency Health Management and Communication" on June 15, 2026.
The training targeted 30 healthcare personnel working in health institutions in Kifri and was conducted as a full-day program comprising theoretical sessions and interactive discussions on key aspects of emergency health management and effective emergency response mechanisms.
The training covered a wide range of topics, including the fundamentals of emergency health management, coordination among healthcare teams, the importance of effective communication during crises and emergencies, and best practices for dealing with injuries and critical cases. These topics aimed to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services provided to patients during emergency situations.
The course witnessed remarkable engagement from participants, who demonstrated great interest in the subjects presented. This enthusiasm reflected the growing need for such specialized training programs in Kifri and surrounding areas, where opportunities for professional capacity-building remain limited compared to larger urban centers. Open discussions and the exchange of experiences among participants further enriched the training and increased its practical value.
During the activity, HUMAN Network emphasized the importance of investing in the professional development of healthcare workers, particularly in the fields of emergency preparedness and health crisis management. Such investments play a vital role in strengthening the ability of healthcare institutions to respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and unexpected incidents.
At the conclusion of the training, certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees in recognition of their active participation and commitment throughout the program. The organizers also highlighted the importance of continuing similar initiatives in the future to further enhance the professional skills and preparedness of healthcare personnel.
The Human Network for Health and Humanitarian Affairs (HUMAN) extends its sincere appreciation to the management of Kifri Teaching Hospital and all participants for their cooperation and valuable contributions to the success of this activity. The Network looks forward to implementing additional specialized training programs that contribute to the development of the healthcare sector and serve the local community.
