Background
On April 21, 2025, a broad meeting was convened to evaluate the overall healthcare situation in the Kurdistan Region, with a special focus on the district of Jamjamal. The discussion revealed a serious deterioration in health services and a troubling public health reality in the area.
Establishment of the Committee
As a response to the identified challenges, and in an effort to systematically assess local needs, the Citizens’ Health Committee of Jamjamal was established on June 15, 2025. The committee brings together:
