Awareness and Training Session at ZEWA Kindergarten

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote community health and raise awareness in educational settings, the Human Network for Health and Humanitarian Work organized an awareness and training session at Zioua Kindergarten under the title:
“Public Health, Hygiene, and First Aid”
on April 8, 2025, with the participation of the kindergarten’s educational staff and the children’s parents.
💡 Session Objectives:
Promote concepts of personal hygiene and healthy behavior among children.
Equip teachers with basic first aid knowledge and appropriate emergency response skills.
Raise parents’ awareness of the importance of prevention and quick response to common household incidents.
🩺 Session Content:
A simple and interactive presentation on personal hygiene and the importance of healthy nutrition.
Training on first aid skills, including: treating wounds, burns, choking, and fainting.
An open discussion between trainers, teachers, and parents on daily challenges and methods of prevention.
👏 Active Participation and Positive Atmosphere
The session saw great interaction from attendees. Many parents and teachers expressed the importance of such initiatives in promoting a safe and healthy environment for children both inside and outside the kindergarten.
🎁 Session Outcomes:
Delivery of a symbolic first aid kit to the kindergarten administration.
Preparation and distribution of educational posters to be displayed in classrooms.
Provision of simplified booklets on hygiene and first aid for both parents and teachers.
